Meet Our Staff

Glenn Walther DVM

Glenn Walther is the owner and veterinarian of Walther Animal Clinic, located in Houma, Louisiana. He started working at the clinic in 1986 and has owned the clinic since 1995. Glenn was born and raised in Houma, he grew up working on the family farm and in the practice for his father, Dr. Dick Walther. He graduated from Terrebonne High School, got his BS from LSU, and his DVM from LSU.

Glenn began working in the veterinary industry because of his background, he enjoyed working with people and their pets. He knew he was in the right profession when he began fostering the personal relationships with people and their pets that Veterinary Medicine allows. As a Veterinarian, his professional interests are in all disciplines involved with the practice of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of LVMA, AVMA, Terrebonne Parish Chamber of Commerce, LSU Tiger Athletic Foundation, LSU Gridiron Booster Club, and a former member of the Louisiana State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work, Glenn is married and has two children. He is an LSU and local professional sports team fan and enjoys working outdoors and woodworking as hobbies.

Diana Tran DVM

Diana Tran is a team member at Walther Animal Clinic. She was raised in Houma and went to school here (elementary to high school). She began working in the veterinary industry because she loved her first dog and identified with the veterinarian. Her favorite thing about working with animals is being able to help those without voices and supporting the human-animal bond. She knew she was in the right profession when she woke up eager to see what the day would bring her.

As a veterinarian, Diana’s professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, and dentistry. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Diana is passionate about these areas because she can help her patients in these fields.

Outside of work, Diana is married, has 2 dogs, and enjoys crafting, working out, and traveling.

Jessica Price DVM

Dr. Jessica Price brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for animal care to her role as a Veterinarian at Walther Animal Clinic. Born in Luling, Louisiana, and raised in Raceland, Jessica’s journey to veterinary medicine was uniquely shaped by her diverse background in both human and animal healthcare.

After graduating high school, Jessica earned an Associate of Science Degree from Delgado Community College and spent a decade working as a licensed radiologic technologist in the human medical field. Her profound love for animals, fostered during her teenage years caring for her horses, eventually led her to pursue a career change. Jessica was accepted into the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2017, marking the beginning of her dedicated service in veterinary medicine.

Jessica’s favorite aspect of working with animals is her ability to enhance their quality of life, ensuring they live long, pain-free lives. She is also passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond for her clients and their pets. Her professional interests are diverse, with a particular focus on orthopedics, dentistry, and providing high-quality end-of-life care. She is an active member of both the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Outside of her professional life, Jessica is deeply rooted in her community and family. She is married to a native of Chauvin, and together they have a daughter and a son, both of whom attend South Terrebonne High School and compete in school sports. Jessica shares her passion for rodeo with her children, competing in barrel racing competitions and rodeos. The family also owns a cattle farm and a rodeo company, supplying rodeo bulls and bucking horses to various events from amateur to pro-level competitions. In their leisure time, they enjoy fishing and spending time at their family camp in Grande Isle, Louisiana.

Dr. Jessica’s commitment to veterinary excellence and her vibrant personal life make her an invaluable member of the Walther Animal Clinic team, where she continues to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients.

Brandy

Brandy is the Practice Manager of Walther Animal Clinic, and has been working at the clinic since February of 2000. She attended Terrebonne High School and then Nicholls State University. Currently, Brandy is enrolled in an online program to earn her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) credentials.

Outside of work, Brandy has been married to her husband for 18 years, and they have two children, three dogs, and four cats. Brandy is a dedicated volunteer in the community and is an active member of the Junior Auxiliary of Houma. She also serves as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in foster care, is on the Event Leadership Team of the Terrebonne Parish Relay for Life, serves as a Board Member of the Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and the Elleanor Claire Memorial Foundation, and volunteers on the Education Committee of Not One More Vet.

Nicole RVT

Nicole is a Registered Veterinary Technician and was born and raised in the area. She graduated from Ellender Memorial High School in 2008 and graduated from Penn Foster College in 2020 with a diploma in veterinary technology.

Nicole’s favorite thing about working in the veterinary industry is patient care. Seeing the animals progress and get better gives her a sense of pride in what she does. From the very beginning, Nicole knew she was in the right profession because she has always had a love for animals of all kinds. Her career lets her interact with and care for animals every single day and provide care and compassion to all animals and their owners through all phases and hurdles in life. Outside of work, Nicole is the daughter of Lila and Darryl, has a sister, Brandie (Nik BIL) and godchildren Nathan and Caleb. She is married to Katie. Nicole enjoys traveling, loved playing softball back in the day and spending time with her family is one of her top priorities.

Kali RVT

Kali is a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician at Walther Animal Clinic. Born and raised in the Houma/Thibodaux area, she pursued her passion for animal care by earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Delgado in 2017. Kali finds great fulfillment in her work, especially in giving a voice to animals that cannot speak, showcasing her deep commitment to their welfare.

Outside of work, Kali enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their fur babies. They love engaging in outdoor activities like fishing and biking, but also appreciate relaxing with a good movie night.

Amber

Amber is a Veterinary Assistant at Walther Animal Clinic. She started working at the clinic in November 2022. She attended EDW Catholic High School and is currently attending the Penn Foster Vet Tech program. She began working in the veterinary industry in 2019 and currently continues to work in the same field. Her favorite thing about working with animals is seeing them every day and helping them, she finds it to be a rewarding career. She knew she was in the right profession when she came to work every day and saw all the pets and knew she could be their voice and help them get the care they needed. Outside of work, Amber has a 6-year-old daughter and 4 pets (two dogs and two cats). Her personal interests include watching movies, hunting and fishing, and spending time with her little girl and friends.

Chae

Chae is a Veterinary Assistant at Walther Animal Clinic. She began working at the practice on January 10th, 2022. Chae always had a passion for working with animals and took a chance when she saw an application for the job. Her favorite thing about working with animals is how they show their love and affection, and how they communicate in so many ways. Within a few weeks of starting the job, Chae knew she was in the right profession, thanks in part to the support and guidance of her coworkers. Outside of work, Chae enjoys drawing and painting as well as traveling.

Kelsey

Kelsey is a Veterinary Assistant and started working at the clinic in August 2021. Kelsey has always had pets growing up and loved being around and helping animals which led her to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. She knew she was in the right profession when she took a littermate from her pet litter who broke his leg, his owners did not want to go through with surgery to fix it. Kelsey took the pet in as her own and got him the surgery he needed. This shows her compassion and love for animals.

Meghan

Meghan is a Receptionist and began working at the clinic on January 20, 2021. Meghan is from Lower Bayou Blue, Louisiana and graduated from Central Lafourche High School. She began working in the veterinary industry because it was something she had always wanted to do and realized that childcare wasn’t the right fit for her. Her favorite thing about working with animals is seeing all the cute pets that come into the clinic.

Meghan knew this was the right profession for her about 3 months after starting at the clinic. In her free time, Meghan has been dating her boyfriend Aaron for 4 years, and together they have a 3-year-old chocolate lab named Addie Rae and a yellow lab pup named Willow Kate. Recently they are excited to find out that their family will be expanding with a human baby, and they are ready to begin this new chapter.

Kaylie

Kaylie is a Veterinary Receptionist and began working at Walther Animal Clinic in October 2022. Kaylie grew up in Montegut, Louisiana, and graduated from South Terrebonne High School. She has lived in the area since she was born and plans to always reside there.

Kaylie began working in the veterinary industry because of the love she developed for animals after getting her first pet dog in 2021. She enjoys learning about the different personalities of animals and their medical histories, and she loves being able to help not only the pets but their owners as well. Kaylie knew she was in the right profession when she loved coming to work every day and was excited to wake up and face the day. Outside of work, Kaylie is newly married to her husband and they have a beautiful family. They have one dog and one cat, which they love dearly.

Brooke

Brooke was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana, is a dedicated and enthusiastic Receptionist at Walther Animal Clinic. A graduate of Terrebonne High School, Brooke’s roots in the community run deep, and her love for animals has been a lifelong passion.

Growing up, Brooke always had pets, which sparked her enduring love for animals. This early connection inspired her to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. She finds immense joy in her role, particularly in the opportunity to interact with a variety of animals every day. For Brooke, the moment she knew she was in the right profession came when she realized she eagerly looked forward to each workday, excited to see and care for the clinic’s furry patients.

Outside of work, Brooke cherishes time with her family. She is the proud daughter of Jude and Alicia, with a younger sister and an older brother, and they share their home with Ruby, a lovable chocolate Labrador. In her free time, Brooke enjoys indulging in creative pursuits like crocheting and painting. She also has a passion for outdoor activities, often going hunting and frogging with her dad and her boyfriend, Lane, with whom she has been in a loving relationship since October 16, 2020.

Brooke’s combination of professional dedication and personal passions make her a valued member of the Walther Animal Clinic team, where she continues to bring warmth and care to both the animals and their owners.

Ashlee

Ashlee is an Assistant at Walther Animal Clinic. She has been working at the clinic since April 2020. Ashlee is a high school graduate and was born and raised in the area. She’s had a love for animals since she was a young child. When the opportunity to work in the veterinary field presented itself, she decided to jump in and has not looked back. Ashlee knew she was in the right profession when her clinic did not stop educating her based on her education level and when she was able to keep her composure during her personal dog’s surgeries.

Sarah

Sarah is a Registered Veterinary Technician at Walther Animal Clinic, has deep roots in Houma, LA, where she was born and raised. A proud graduate of Ellender Memorial High School, class of 2002, Sarah furthered her education at Penn Foster College, earning her degree in January 2023.

Sarah’s passion for veterinary care stems from a lifelong love and compassion for animals of all species. She finds immense joy in caring for animals throughout the various stages of their lives and cherishes the opportunity to educate and build lasting relationships with clients. The pivotal moment that affirmed her career choice was the first time she assisted in a life-saving procedure, solidifying her dedication to the veterinary field.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, Darick, and their two children, Maci and Aaron. Their home is lively with three dogs: Tyson, Rex, and Molly. As a family, they love spending quality time together and often go camping, creating cherished memories with loved ones. Sarah’s commitment to her family and her passion for animal care make her an invaluable member of the Walther Animal Clinic team.
